A wonderful close by hotel is Best Western Crivitz Lodge; golf can be played at Indian Hills Golf Course. During the long summer days highs here at Shakey Lakes get into the 80's while night lows are typically in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Shakey Lakes temperatures fall to the 0's. The annual rainfall here       at Shakey Lakes is about average; September is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is February. Stay the night at Amberg Campgrounds and Bar, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Pike River. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Norway Mountain is right next door to Shakey Lakes, and if you get bored of Shakey Lakes you could also have a look at nearby Resort Lake. You'll wish for more hours in                  a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Shakey Lakes. Buck Hill is uncomplicated to spot from Shakey Lakes, and if you need a location to stay Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Shakey Lakes Park is a splendid campground nearby, and Shakey Lakes is not the only place nearby, East Lake is a nearby lake.
