Get yourself into a kayak and hit Au Train River, and there are splendid places to look at along the Valley Spur Ski Trail. Lake Seventeen gets a common amount of rainfall; September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is       February. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Munising/Wetmore Area is a glorious site to spend a night or two, and Lake Seventeen is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Hovey Lake Campground is a wonderful location to camp nearby. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Au Train Lake Campground is a splendid campground nearby, and hey, Joe Creek is a great local stream. Near Lake Seventeen you find the                  Addis Lakes Ski Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is a magnificent national park. This lake is so wonderful. Really great skiing awaits you at Gladstone Ski Park. During the summertime months here at Lake Seventeen, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 20's while Lake Seventeen night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
