Sevenmile Lake is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Au Sable Point Campground is a wonderful place to camp nearby. A quick visit to Black Mosquite Creek near Sevenmile Lake is a fine idea, and do take a hike on the Lakeshore Trail. The warmest time of the year at Sevenmile Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and the night is quite chillier of course, usually in       the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Sevenmile Lake are in the 0's. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Sevenmile Lake; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Visiting Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
