At Secord Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 70's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows at Secord Lake throughout the wintertime frequently dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Secord Lake Campground since you're here at Secord Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Center Fireline Trail.       After a long day outdoors Quality Inn West Branch is a wonderful location to spend a night or two; there's great hiking along the Mosquito Alley Truck Trail. Man, is there loads of enjoyable things to do next to Secord Lake. Lakeside Golf Course is a delightful golf course nearby, and camping at Secord Lake is great fun, J and J's Landing is a great local campground. At Secord Lake you always meet someone from Midland, and hiking is a popular thing to do around                  Secord Lake; Guernsey Creek Trail is a tremendous local trail. Take a side spree to Sugar River; if you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - West Branch is a delightful choice.
