There are glorious places to look at along the Holyoke Trail; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Garlic River. At Second Bass Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Second Bass Lake during       the winter generally plunge into the 0's. There are plenty of folks from Marquette here at Second Bass Lake, and Yellow Dog River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Country Village RV Park, and dry warm beds await you at Marquette-Days Inn. You can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Marquette, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Country Inn is a delightful site to spend a night or two.                  I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Second Bass Lake.
