Sawmill Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Clear water Campgrounds is a great local campground; a lake nearby is Lake Marion. Be careful coming to Sawmill Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. Duck Creek is a splendid place to stop by; since you're here and you like golf, you can stop by Goodrich       Country Club. A normal amount of rain falls here at Sawmill Lake; September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. The Hadley Hills is one of the things that make Sawmill Lake so great, and Comfort Inn Davison is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There is a nice hiking trail in the neighborhood of Sawmill Lake called the Grass Lake Trail, and the peak of Hadley Hills can be seen from Sawmill Lake.                  You could also explore Fox Lake if you're here at Sawmill Lake; it's close by; during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Flint for sure. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect place to camp here at Sawmill Lake is Groveland Oaks County Park, and Mount Holly is a very popular ski area around here. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Sawmill Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
