Summer brings highs in the 80's to Sawmill Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Sawmill Lake. Just can't get enough of Sawmill Lake. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Crystal Mountain. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you       can always pop by nearby Coon Lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Sawmill Lake; Ward Hills Snowmobile Trail is a tremendous local trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Sawmill Lake has to offer, you can camp at Big Bass Lake Campground, and if you need a spot to stay Pine Creek Lodge is a glorious choice. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lincoln Mills Snowmobile Trail; after a long day outdoors                  High Bridge Cabins is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. The yearly rain here at Sawmill Lake is about average; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
