This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Marquette is a good place to do that; camping at Country Village RV Park is always a pleasant experience. During the long summer days highs here at Saux Head Lake get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 20's;       during the dark hours in the winter at Saux Head Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. You must have a look at Saux Head Point when you're here at Saux Head Lake; a magnificent close by hotel is Cedar Motor Inn. While you're here at Saux Head Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Marquette; Days Inn Marquette is a pleasant place to get some rest. A lake close by is First Bass Lake, and why not take a little tour to Big Garlic River while you're here.                  This place, Saux Head Lake, it simply has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. If you come at the right time of year, Big Garlic River offers some nice whitewater, and Garlic Mountain is a peak you can spot from Saux Head Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Yellow Dog River; you can go for a hike on the Holyoke Trail.
