At Saunders Lake all through the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Saunders Lake drop into the 10's. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area near Saunders Lake has to offer. This       lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Saunders Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Whiskey Creek is a glorious site for that; Saunders Lake is right by the Woods Trail. An average amount of rainfall falls at Saunders Lake; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. Saunders Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Scottville Riverside Park is a splendid local campground,                  and a wonderful nearby hotel is Best Western Splash Park Inn. Big South Branch Pere Marquette River is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at, and the Indian Trail offers hiking at its best.
