Everybody close by loves skiing at Crystal Mountain. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Saunders Lake; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Saunders Lake. The amount of rain that falls at Saunders Lake is close to the national       average; most of the rain falls through September, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Saunders Lake is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Cycle-Moore is a fine place to camp nearby, and Econo Lodge Traverse City is a great spot to get some rest. Homestead is a brilliant local ski area, and after a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn & Suites Traverse City is a great site to spend a night or two. Lakes are such serene                  places, why not visit Ellis Lake in close proximity to Saunders Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Saunders Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lakeside Resort and Party Store. So many fun things to do here at Saunders Lake, too fine to be true.
