This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Au Train Lake Campground, and do pay a visit to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore since you're here at Saul Lake. That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Saul Lake has it all.       Going for a hike along the Bay De Noe Grand Island Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; if you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Munising Wetmore Area is a wonderful choice. A typical amount of rain falls here at Saul Lake; the month with most of the rain is September, and February is the month with the least moisture. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Au Train River, and you'll most likely meet some folks from Escanaba here.                  You're possibly interested in lakes, Davies Lake is one of those nearby; if you're here you can take a hike along the Addis Lakes Ski Trail. This lake is so wonderful. This is a tremendous region for people who like lakes. Little Pole Lake is a lake in close proximity, and a day on the slopes of Gladstone Ski Park is just what you need. Summer at Saul Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows at Saul Lake through the winter typically drop into the 10's.
