The yearly rainfall here at Sanford Lake is about average; September is when you get the most rain here while February is usually the driest month. High temperatures at Sanford Lake throughout the summer are in the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, regularly in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout       the winter temperatures at Sanford Lake drop into the 0's. It's a pleasant idea to explore Black Creek, it's near Sanford Lake, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Midland for sure. There's tremendous hiking along the Mosquito Alley Truck Trail, and after a long day outdoors Midland Resort is a fine place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Sanford Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Flats Campground is a                  fine local campground, and don't leave Sanford Lake without first going for a hike along the Center Fireline Trail.
