The yearly rainfall here at Sandy Bottom Lake is about average; September is the wettest month with most rain while February is generally the driest month. Lots of people from Ann Arbor come to Sandy Bottom Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Huron River.
