Summertime highs at Sand Lake typically tend to be in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Sand Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. Be careful coming to Sand Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again.       Sylvan Lake is a glorious lake right next door to Sand Lake; there are plenty of folks from Sturgis here at Sand Lake. Sand Lake is a good site of common rain; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Sand Lake is a splendid location to visit for more than one day, Nottawa Park is a splendid location to camp nearby, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Howe                  is a great spot to spend a night or two.
