Looking for some flowing water? Try Peterson Creek; Birch Point is not far at all. At Sand Lake all through the summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Sand Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Newberry is a delightful choice, and Sand Lake is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Michihistrigan Mini-golf
