This lake is so wonderful. A delightful location to camp here at Saddlebag Lake is Hemlock Lake Campgrounds; Saddlebag Lake is not the only location nearby, Gravel Lake is a nearby lake. Throughout the months of summer highs here at Saddlebag Lake reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 60's. During the winter       highs are typically in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Saddlebag Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. The smiling people of Kalamazoo-Portage like to hang out close by; if you get bored of Saddlebag Lake you could also stop by close by Fish Lake. Saddlebag Lake is a good location of normal rain; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February.
