Ryerson Lake is a nice lake to visit. If only every location had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great earth it would be. On a glorious day at Ryerson Lake you can take a hike along the Horseshoe Lake Cycle Trail. All through the summer at Ryerson Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's, and the night is rather chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight

| | here at Ryerson Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Parks and Recreation Dept is a delightful spot to camp. Lakes? Sure, Little Lake is close at hand. While you're here at Ryerson Lake you can play some golf at Briar Hill Golf Course; Rodeway Inn Coopersville is a good location to get some rest. While you're here at Ryerson Lake you can take a hike along the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail, and there are other locations here than Ryerson Lake, for | |

is a good place of normal rain; most of the rain falls through August; the driest month of the year is February.

Croton Dam Float Trips

Rustic Camping also available on a limited basis. As of April 15, 2009 we have two seasonal electric sites available for rent this season. Rate is $700. 00 for the year. Our camping rates nightly are $12. 00 for non-power sites and $15. 00 for electrical sites. No running water/hand pump. No dump station. Outhouses and porta- potties in the busy summer season.
Excellent smallmouth & largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing on the backwaters to Croton Dam and also north about 5 miles on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. Spring steelhead runs, rainbow & german brown trout, and fall salmon runs down on the river itself below the dam.
We do not offer river services for the Little Muskegon River.
