Rush Lake is always a pleasure to visit. After a long day outdoors Wayside Cabins is a wonderful location to spend a night or two, and a round of golf at nearby Elk Ridge Golf Course is a magnificent way to kill some time. If you need a location to stay Treetops Resort is a pleasant choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Shady Acres Campground is a brilliant site to camp. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Rush Lake reach the 80's,

| | and through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are frequently in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Rush Lake.
Rush Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. A great location for whitewater paddling near Rush Lake is Ocqueoc River; not far from Rush Lake you'll locate Little Brush Lake which is a striking lake.
