We have great Firework displays on or near the Fourth of July. For anyone who visited it in recent years and was disgusted by the seaweed infestation that we went through, Good News! That has been cleared up. There is a great log cabin resort right on Round Lake called Landers Landing. The two pictures I have uploaded have views of Round Lake in the background. The picinic one was in 2006 and my wedding picture was in 1997. For the period of the days of summer at Round Lake highs are typically in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Round Lake. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Round Lake. After a long day outdoors Microtel Inn and Suites Manistee is a good place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.       Round Lake is right by the Indian Trail, and not far from Round Lake you'll discover Tallman Lake which is a delightful lake. Take a hike on the Woods Trail. Lakes? Sure, Cunningham Lake is in the neighborhood. Manistee-Days Inn is a glorious place to get some rest; you can stay the night at Timber Surf Camping Resort. An average amount of rainfall falls at Round Lake; the month with most of the rain is September while February is the month with the least                  amount of precipitation. Hiking along the North Country National Scenic Trail is delightful fun.
