Summer at Round Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and the overnight is quite cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Round Lake are in the 0's. This is a popular location for folks from Sault Ste. Marie, and St Ignace Koa Kampground is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you need       a place to stay The Inn at StoneCliffe is a splendid choice, and there are glorious locations to explore along the Mackinac Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Grand Hotel, and don't leave Round Lake without first going for a hike along the North Country Trail. Round Lake is a good location of typical rain; the month with most of the rain is September, and February meanwhile is the driest month. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here                  at Round Lake.
