Round Lake is a good spot of normal rain; September is the month that gets the most rain while February is generally the driest month. For the duration of the summertime here at Round Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures       at Round Lake plunge into the 0's. So much cool stuff to do at Round Lake, so little time. Camping at Bay City Lake Campground is always a brilliant experience. This lake is so wonderful. Grand Hotel is a fine site to get some rest, and camping is available at St Ignace Koa Kampground. If you're going to Round Lake from Sault Ste. Marie, you won't be the only one, and Round Lake is right by the Horseshoe Bay Trail. Dry warm beds await you at The Inn at                  StoneCliffe, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Mackinac Trail.
