Don't miss out on a spree to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore since you're here at Round Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Haymeadow Falls Trail. Round Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; during the month of September you       get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are in fact plentiful here at Round Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Round Lake; Bay De Noe Grand Island Trail is a tremendous local trail, and if you've had enough of Round Lake, West Branch Lake is close by. Munising - Days Inn is a splendid location to get some rest, and the snow is brilliant at Gladstone Ski Park. Take a hike on the Addis Lakes Ski                  Trail; you can stay the night at Hiawatha Resort and Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Au Train River, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Munising/Wetmore Area is a magnificent choice. High temperatures at Round Lake through the summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's.
