So much enjoyable stuff close to Round Lake, just striking. A good nearby hotel is Sleep Inn Dewitt; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites LANSING is a great location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Red Cedar River, and Timber Ridge Golf Club is a golf course close by. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Round Lake       reach the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Round Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. Cedar Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and if you came for an overnight stay Lansing Cottonwood Campground is a pleasant location to camp. There's some flowing water close by, Mud Creek is a stream you can take a look at during your stay, and                  there are plenty of folks from Lansing-East Lansing here. Round Lake gets a normal amount of rain; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
