Having a splendid time at Ross Lake is simple. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Kalamazoo River; good skiing awaits you at Cannonsburg. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Baymont Inn &       Suites Grand Rapids SW/Byron Center is a great spot to spend a night or two; Hungry Horse Campground is a great campground here. Summertime highs at Ross Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Ross Lake during the winter ordinarily sink into the 10's.
