After a long day outdoors White Star Motel is a great location to spend a night or two, and it's a delightful idea to have a look at Cedar River. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Gladwin Motor Inn, and going for a hike along the Guernsey Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Ross Lake rocks! Camping at Lost Haven Campground is always a       glorious experience. The amount of rain that falls at Ross Lake is close to the national average; throughout the month of September you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. During the summer at Ross Lake highs are frequently in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Ross Lake. If you                  came to camp Calhoun Campground is a wonderful site to do that, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Mosquito Alley Truck Trail.
