A typical amount of rain falls here at Rookery Lake; most of the rain falls throughout September, and February on the other hand is the driest. There's tremendous hiking along the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Ski Brule. This lake is so wonderful. Sparrow Rapids Campground is a fine campground nearby, and the snow is nice at Brule Mountain.       Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things near Rookery Lake. Tepee Lake Campground and Picnic Area is a wonderful local campground. Hehe Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Ontonagon River - Middle Branch. Mitigwaki Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at; if you get bored of Rookery Lake you could also stop by nearby Roost Lake.                  Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Rookery Lake while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's.
