The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Rood Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. From a precipitation                  point of view Rood Lake is a rather normal site; June is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
