The warmest time of the year at Roby Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Roby Lake descend into the 10's. A lake nearby is Oxbow Lake; hiking along the Honeymoon Lake Snowmobile Trail is magnificent fun. Roby Lake is not the only place close by,       Hill Lake is a close by lake, and if you need a place to stay Ramada Inn & Convention Center Ludington Mi is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Pere Marquette Campground is a great campground nearby, and going for a hike along the North Country National Scenic Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Swamps can be such out of the ordinary spots, visit Darkeys Marsh if you're here at Roby Lake, and since you're here you can                  take a hike along the Ward Hills Snowmobile Trail. Be careful coming to Roby Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. A short visit to Gillen Springs is always worthwhile; Roby Lake is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, Big Star Trailer and RV Resort is a glorious spot to camp nearby.
