Comfort Inn Chelsea is a good place to get some rest, and during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Ann Arbor for sure. This lake is so wonderful. A nice close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Chelsea, Mi, and if you came to camp Timberland Campground is a great place to do that. Throughout the warm months at Riker Lake highs are frequently in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. The cold days of the       wintertime come with highs in the 20's; overnight lows through the winter for Riker Lake tend to be in the 10's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Riker Lake. Riker Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Hell Creek Ranch is a tremendous local campground. Mount Brighton is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Hudson Mills Metropark                  Golf Course. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Huron River. Lakes are nice; Dead Lake is a lake that's close to Riker Lake.
