Riddle Lake is a nice lake to visit. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Riddle Lake. You can never get enough of the good skiing at Pine Nob. Crystal Creek Pines is a magnificent campground nearby, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Grass Lake Trail.  | Five Lakes in an unincorporated town with only a few buildings left, located in central Lapeer County Mi. You can find it on older road maps but it's no longer listed on recent state road maps. Stop in at Five lakes grocery and talk to the lady there, she can tell you all about the history of this once booming lumber town. The 7,000 +/- acre Lapeer State Game Area is adjacent and offers great hunting, fishing, hiking, canoeing and nature study/photography. 6-7 miles away is the town of Lapeer which is the county seat and with 8,000 people, the largest town in the county.... |

It's not very clean, you find cigarette butts all over the beach, finding it very unattractive, especially if you have little kids. I would be very pleased if that was an issue taking care of when I return to the beach with my kids. Also perhaps a no smoking on beach could be addressed. Perhaps they could smoke elsewhere. Like in the parking lot. Where kids wouldn't most likely be. Thank you.... |
