Camping at J W Wells State Park is always a wonderful experience, and some nearby water includes Ruleau Creek. Richardt Lake gets a normal amount of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain       while February is mostly the driest month. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Dry warm beds await you at Shallows Resort; lakes are such serene places, why not stop at Little Lake. During the months of summer at Richardt Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and the overnight is a little colder of course, typically in the 50's.
