Michigan has many beautiful lakes and Reed Lake is one of them. A good close by hotel is Springhill Suites By Marriott Grand Rapids North, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Grand Rapids-Wyoming here. You're in all probability hooked on lakes, No-Ko-Mos Lake is one of those nearby; what would winter be without some skiing at Cannonsburg. | | least moisture. Reed Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lakeside Camp Park is a great local campground, and Whitefish Lake Golf Club is a delightful golf course nearby. Man, is there a lot of fun things to do next to Reed Lake. If you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Comstock Park is a great choice; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try White Creek. If you came to camp Duke Creek Recreation-camping is a tremendous site to do that; if you've had enough of Reed Lake, Lower Lake is nearby.

Croton Dam Float Trips

Rustic Camping also available on a limited basis. As of April 15, 2009 we have two seasonal electric sites available for rent this season. Rate is $700. 00 for the year. Our camping rates nightly are $12. 00 for non-power sites and $15. 00 for electrical sites. No running water/hand pump. No dump station. Outhouses and porta- potties in the busy summer season.
Excellent smallmouth & largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing on the backwaters to Croton Dam and also north about 5 miles on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. Spring steelhead runs, rainbow & german brown trout, and fall salmon runs down on the river itself below the dam.
We do not offer river services for the Little Muskegon River.
We do offer a car spotting service to take your vehicles down river while you boat, canoe, or kayak the river. We also provide transportation services for individuals and their own equipment for a reasonable fee.
