Try Certon Creek, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Pellston, Mi is a nice choice. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. A magnificent location to camp here at Reed Lake is Mackinaw Koa Kampground, and Cedarbrook Village Resort is a nice place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Boyne Highlands is near Reed       Lake, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Horseshoe Bay Trail. Do go to Arnott Lake right next door to Reed Lake, it's a pretty lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Bear River. Reed Lake gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; September is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. The snow is good at Nubs Nob, and since you're here and you                  like golf, you can have a look at Wilderness Golf Course. Camping is available at Tee Pee Campgrounds. Summertime at Reed Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's.
