You can run the rapids of Sturgeon River in close proximity to Red Dam Lake; Red Dam Lake is a splendid site to visit for more than one day, Norway Lake Park Paystation is a splendid site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. At Red Dam Lake during the days of summer highs are in       the 80's, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Red Dam Lake are in the 0's. Any time is a splendid time at Red Dam Lake if you fancy the outdoors. Menominee River is a tremendous whitewater spot right next door to Red Dam Lake, and a lovely lake like Hamilton Lake is a tremendous site to check out. A magnificent nearby hotel is Americinn                  - Norway, Mi, and why not head up to Norway Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Red Dam Lake gets a normal amount of annual rain; during September this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Iron Mountain-Days Inn is a delightful place to get some rest, and lakes are such serene sites, why not check out Louise Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
