This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Ramada of Marquette is a magnificent choice, and don't leave Quarry Pond without first going for a hike along the Holyoke Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Gitche Gumee Campground and RV; a pleasant close by hotel is Landmark Inn. This is no site       for people who don’t like to have a good time. That right there is heaps already, but it continues; Quarry Pond has it all. This is a popular site for people from Marquette, and nearby you hit upon Lighthouse Point. Quarry Pond gets a common amount of rain; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain; February is when it's the driest. You don’t have to go far from Quarry Pond to catch a sight of the water at Harbor Basin; why not                  spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Chocolay Downs Golf Course. No need to travel far to stop at attention-grabbing stuff like Migisy Bluff; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Carp River. The panorama of scenic Mount Mesnard near Quarry Pond is good; why not a little side trip to Carp River. Marquette is a very popular ski area in the vicinity; you'll stumble on a pretty lake called Buschell Lake. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Quarry Pond. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's.
