The snow is perfect at Shanty Creek, and Econo Lodge Kalkaska is a good place to get some rest. All through the summertime months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Priests Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's while Priests Lake night low temperatures       through the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Grandview Golf Club is always a joy, and after a long day outdoors Hawks Eye Clubhouse Condos is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. Priests Lake is not the only place close by, Rainbow Lake is a close by lake, and why not camp at Camp Tanuga if you're here at Priests Lake. The amount of precipitation that falls at Priests Lake is close to the national average;                  most of the rain falls through September, and February on the other hand is the driest.
