Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Prickett Lake while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Prickett Lake. Camping is available at Lower Dam Lake Campground, and Pickett Dam is a beautiful spot, certainly worth going to. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is good here at Prickett Lake, you can go for a hike along the Pelkie       Creek Hunter Walking Trails, and whitewater paddling is great on Sturgeon River. An average amount of rainfall falls at Prickett Lake; most of the rain falls through August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A perfect nearby hotel is Best Western Baraga Lakeside Inn, and paddling on Otter River - West Branch is so much fun. If you came for an overnight stay Twin Lakes State Park is a magnificent place to camp, and it's                  a pleasant idea to go to Coach Creek. Yeah, come here to Prickett Lake for a pleasant time.
