There are other sites here than Post Lake, for example Perch Lake, and after a long day outdoors Hawks Eye Clubhouse Condos is a good spot to spend a night or two. At Post Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and       night lows in the 0's for Post Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Shanty Creek; Kalkaska County Log Lake Park is a wonderful campground nearby. Post Lake gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; September is the wettest month with most rain; February is when it's the driest. Playing golf is lots of fun at Timber Wolf Golf Club, and if you came for an overnight stay Camp Tanuga is a brilliant spot to camp.                  Man, is there heaps of fun stuff to do right next door to Post Lake.
