The amount of rain that falls at Poplar Lake is close to the national average; September is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. During the long summer days highs here at Poplar Lake get into the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.       For the period of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Poplar Lake tend to be in the 0's. Dry warm beds await you at Woodland Motor Lodge; if you came for an overnight stay Lakes Of The North Campground is a perfect location to camp. Camp Tanuga is a tremendous campground nearby, and you can hit the slopes at Skyline Ski Slide close at hand. This lake is so wonderful.
