Many people like to go to Plover Lake. Man, is there lots of fun stuff to do near Plover Lake. A quick tour to Allen Creek near Plover Lake is a great idea, and going for a hike on the Lauterman Trail is always a splendid adventure. After a long day outdoors Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites is a fine location to spend a night or two, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Ski Brule if you're here. The annual rainfall here at Plover Lake is about average; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. During the warmest time of the year at Plover Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. at Plover Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Pine River. There's so much to do here at Plover Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Iron River Rv Park is a perfect place for that.
A tremendous
close by hotel is Americinn - Iron River, Mi. Paddling on Brule River is so much fun, and Plover Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Stevens Lake Campground is a wonderful local campground.
