Isle Royale National Park is one of the destinations next to Pine Lake that are pleasant to go to, and if you're stopping by from Houghton, you won't be the only one. There's so much to do here at Pine Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hancock Recreation       Area is a great site for that, and hiking along the Pelkie Creek Hunter Walking Trails is brilliant fun.
