This place, Pine Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. There are some fine whitewater spots on Sturgeon River - West Branch, and why not camp at Twin Lakes State Park since you're here at Pine Lake. Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Houghton, MI is a fine place to get some rest. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Copper Crown Motel,       and you can go for a hike on the Pelkie Creek Hunter Walking Trails. If you're dropping by Pine Lake from Houghton, you won't be the only one, and Pine Lake is not the only place close by, Twelvemile Lake is a close by lake. All through the summer months at Pine Lake highs are typically in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's.
