Go for a hike on the Bay De Noe Grand Island Trail; you're almost certainly interested in lakes, Side Lake is one of those close by. Summertime highs at Pine Lake typically tend to be in the 70's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Pine Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something in the       neighborhood of Pine Lake? Pole Creek Lake is in the neighborhood, and a delightful spot for whitewater paddling is Au Train River. Munising - Days Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest; wonderful hiking is available along the Addis Lakes Ski Trail. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Pine Lake. There's so much to do here at Pine Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hiawatha Resort and Campground is a good site for that, and don't                  leave Pine Lake without first going for a hike along the Haymeadow Falls Trail. Pine Lake gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Munising/Wetmore Area is a fine choice.
