Pikes Pond is a lake worth visiting. Lots of people from Kalamazoo-Portage come to Pikes Pond; a magnificent nearby hotel is Kalamazoo Knights Inn. Arcadia Creek is a nice local stream, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Kalamazoo is a great location to spend a night or two. If you came for an overnight stay Coldbrook County Park is a great location to camp, and why not head up to Bittersweet and strap some skis to your feet.

of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Timber Ridge is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. Kalamazoo River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by; Kleinstuck Marsh is an interesting swamp near Pikes Pond.
