The Haywire Grade ORV Trail is a great hiking trail next to Pike Lake, and not far from Pike Lake you'll come across Deep Lake which is a lovely lake. Pike Lake is a good place of common precipitation; through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February.       If you need a place to stay AmericInn Munising is a tremendous choice; a perfect place to camp here at Pike Lake is Hiawatha Resort and Campground. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Pike Lake. If the weather is delightful here at Pike Lake, you can go for a hike along the Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail; dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn - Wetmore. Glide down the rapids of Au Train River in a kayak. This                  lake is so wonderful. A tour to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is recommended; camping is available at Wide Water Campground. High temperatures at Pike Lake through the summertime months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's.
