     The beauty of Pickerel Lake attracts many people from all around. From a precipitation point of view Pickerel Lake is a pretty common place; most of the rain falls through September; February is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Pickerel Lake through the warm months are in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while Pickerel Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in  
   the 0's. Do stop by Lake Dollar in close proximity to Pickerel Lake, it's a stunning lake. There's so much to do here at Pickerel Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sno-trac Camper Village is a great place for that.
Graham Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and Treetops Sylvan has great slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Treetops Resort, and if you came to camp Sno-Trac Village is a wonderful place to do that.

... Twenty-three downhill runs wind their way through the majestic hardwood forest that covers the 400-acre winter park. Snowboarders are welcome at Treetops. They are allowed on the entire ski area and have a new terrain park with 12 features for their own private use.The new terrain park contains 2 flat 10' beginner rails as well as a 20' intermediate round rail. There are some challenging additions such as a beginner 16' battle ship kinked rail as well as a 16' intermediate rainbow rail. In addition, there are man-made and natural jib features such as barrels, and logs that can be used to slide or jump over or tap with skis or boards. Nordic enthusiasts will find the ''Midwest's best terrain'' for cross-country skiing. The 12 km of groomed and tracked trails are all clearly marked and range in difficulty from beginner to expert. Treetops also offers extreme (snow) tubing. The tubing ride is available by 1.5 hour sessions for up to 30 people at a time. Advance reservations can be made for this exhilarating experience.
