Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not stop by Neds Lake close to Pewee Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Grassy Creek is close to Pewee Lake and is always a joy to check out, and camping is available at Hiawatha Resort and Campground. From a precipitation point of view Pewee Lake is a pretty normal place; the month with       most of the rain is September while February is regularly the driest month. Pewee Lake really is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. All our national parks are glorious places to visit, and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is no exception; hiking is a popular thing to do around Pewee Lake; Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail is a wonderful local trail. After a long day outdoors AmericInn Munising is a fine site to spend a night or two, and                  do take a hike on the Valley Spur Ski Trail. During the summer months here at Pewee Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's with night lows in the 50's.
