Custom Search     Petobego Pond     Most of the pond lies on private land while the a small portion butts up to a state park accessable by boat from East Grand Taverse Bay. The shallow lake often connects to the bay by a small stream, usually on private land but occasionally meandering onto the parkland. Small panfish often flourish in spring and fall but the pond often becomes to warm in the summer. Carp have also been sited.
