There's glorious hiking along the Honeymoon Lake Snowmobile Trail, and don't forget to take a delightful little spree to First Cole Creek. Man, is there plenty of fun stuff to do in the vicinity of Peterson Lake. Go for a hike on the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail, and Blackberry Lake is a tremendous lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful.       Why not camp at Parks and Recreation Dept while you're here at Peterson Lake; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Ramshom Country Club. The yearly precipitation here at Peterson Lake is about average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Summertime highs at Peterson Lake usually tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.                  Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Peterson Lake are in the 10's.
