A tremendous location to camp here at Peterson Lake is Vagabond Resort and Campground; you can run the rapids of Au Train River. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Peterson Lake rocks! Farm Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and there are glorious sites to explore along the Addis Lakes Ski Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Escanaba MI Travelodge. There are plenty of                  folks from Escanaba here at Peterson Lake, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Gladstone Ski Park. While you're here at Peterson Lake, you could also visit picturesque Bishop Lake It's always magnificent to have a look at Haymeadows Falls. Camping at Whispering Valley Campground is always a nice experience; close by you hit upon the Haymeadow Falls Trail which is a great hiking trail.
