This lake is so wonderful. The yearly rainfall here at Perch Lake is about average; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Red Fox Run Golf Course, needless to say you could also visit Blue Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. If you're here at Perch Lake, you could visit East Branch Escanaba River; dry       warm beds await you at Carlson Inn & Suites By Carlson, Marquette, MI. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Escanaba River - East Branch; the snow is magnificent at Marquette. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Perch Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime                  temperatures at Perch Lake descend into the 0's. And that's not all you can do here at Perch Lake. People from Marquette love to come to Perch Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Gitche Gumee Campground and RV is a splendid site to camp. If you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Lakeside is a great choice, and Escanaba River is a splendid whitewater spot nearby.
