Perch River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by; you can stay the night at Lake Ste. Kathryn Campground. Brule Mountain has perfect slopes and a friendly staff, and close by you hit upon the Pelkie Creek Hunter Walking Trails which is a wonderful hiking trail. A pleasant nearby hotel is Americinn - Iron River, Mi, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Baraga Lakeside Inn is a perfect spot to spend a night or two. For the period of the months

| | of summer at Perch Lake highs are generally in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Perch Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's.
And if that's not sufficient, there's lots more to do near Perch Lake. Paddling on Sturgeon River is so much fun, and do take a look at Little Wolf Lake, it's a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. Perch Lake is a great site to visit | |

for more than one day, Perch Lake Campground is a great site to camp nearby, and naturally Kidney Creek flows through this area.
From a precipitation point of view Perch Lake is a relatively common place; most of the rain falls
throughout August, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Really glorious skiing awaits you at Ski Brule, and Frog Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
